Smith & Wesson Model 638 Airweight 1.87" 38 Special Revolver
is this made of stainless steel?...it does not actually state this, so i am asking,,,thanks in advance

Well ...yes and no. This has an aluminum alloy frame with a stainless steel cylinder and stainless barrel. I own one... a great little carry gun.

Scott, This is not a stainless steel frame. The Smith & Wesson 638 .38 Special Revolver features an aluminum alloy frame and a shrouded hammer.
