  • Gary, accuracy will be surprisingly similar. The lighter bullet will have a higher initial velocity and the heavier bullet will retain a higher velocity farther out being heavier. Lighter bullets tend to shed velocity faster at longer given distances. Lighter = higher initial velocity and energy and heavier = higher ending velocity and energy.

  • Gary, Really very little difference. You will not notice without diagnostic equipment. There is quality difference in 22lr ammo. The better stuff generally feeds and performs better. If your buying buckets of ammo for plinking no big deal.
