I had a milspec 1911 by Springfield armory. It was one of those promotional deals where they send a bunch of things and like 4 extra mags. Would those 7 round magazines fit in this gun? Will they work too? They’re milspec. Why buy more mags if I might be able to use those right?

You can use the magazine with either firearm. The one that holds 8 rounds is the same as the mil-spec version from your Springfield 1911. You won’t have any issues. It was my pleasure to assist you.
