    It really depends on whether you have the original barrel or your barrel was replaced sometime during its use (likely). Original M91-type rifles and carbines had gain twist barrels, however, this feature has been dropped since 1938 as a money-saving measure. So this rifle likely has gain twist barrel originally but if the barrel was replaced after 1938, it is replaced with a fixed twist rate. Your best bet to find some gunsmith to check it for you.
