  • Has anyone had an issue with the fit of the magazines. Mine wobble---up and down and side to side. Have not fired the weapon yet so do not know if it will create an issue. Might buy another magazine in case the two which came with the weapon are just bad.

  • This is normal in the 809 Clifton. As long as the mag catch locks and the mag does not release with a tug you are good to go. If you have trouble finding spare mags for the Taurus 809, Taurus 24/7 G2 magazines work just fine and are plentiful.

  • Shouldn't be a problem. If the mag locks in I wouldn't worry but if it falls out without clicking the release then you have issues. I have a few glock magazines that do the same until you break them in.

  • probably not an issue especially if the mags are empty or the gun is open . when you have a loaded mag the top bullet pushes against the bottom of the slide and spring tension helps make the mag seem tighter empty or open slide you only have the mag catch holding it in. try with a loaded mag then shoot it and if everything works good don't worry about it
