  • The GP is stamped also i'll try and find the difference in the 2 - The Wassenaar Arrangement Semiautomatic Rifle (WASR) is a semi-automatic version of the Romanian military Pistol Mitralier model 1963/1965, better known here in the US as the "Romy G". Made by Cugir Factory and Imported and modified by Century International Arms to conform with 922(r) the WASR is an inexpensive, durable, reliable and customizable Kalashnikov series rifle, and the GP WASR 10 is perfect for the AK-47 purist, shooter, and collector. Threaded slant brake barrel blue finish, wood stock, and forend, and adjustable sights. This WASR 10 includes a slanted muzzle device, bayonet lug, and a 30 round Magpul magazine.
Chambered for the AK-47 7.62x39 round, the GP WASR Rifle from Century Arms International is incredibly sturdy and durable. Weighing in at only 7.5 pounds, this rifle is comfortable to carry in the field.

  • I would bet they are custom jobs... there are only two manufacturers (Cugir and Sabu) of Romanian AKs (WASRs), and neither factory ever produced a milled AK... only AKMs (AKM = stamped).

  • All I've ever seen were stamped. Easy to tell, stamped have rivets holding in the front and rear internal sections, a milled is just one piece of steel for the receiver. What i have heard, there is no such thing as a milled wasr. So IMO its either stamped or has the mag rails welded on in the magwell.

  • Ok the Hi-Cap model comes with a muzzle device, bayonet lug. The GP This model does not come with the muzzle break or the bayonet lug.
