  • This is a very well built standard 1911. Reviews have been very consistent with Iver 1911's. Iver Johnson has been making 1911's since World War 2. It is a good buy for the money for sure. youtube.com/watch?v=ZJfzgMfNgRE

  • It is a good solid 1911 it is very reliable and you will not be able to wear out the gun (carbon steel) in your lifetime surplus Carbon steel 1911s are still going strong from WW I

  • The carbon steel actually wears better than stainless as it will not gall like stainless and holds lubrication better. The outside finish is the only drawback as it will wear and need refinishing from time to time.
