Bought these a couple years ago before the price went through the roof, stored some in magazines and and a few in stripped clips in cans with silica packs, No corrosion noticed. Grouping isn't awful, mostly used for plinking and varmint control.

I ordered this product because an older box of what I thought was the same product shot so well in my older Mini 14. I'm talking 2" at 100 yds. My older box was the one displayed in your adds but the product number was the same for both; 223A even though the box yours came in was not the same. But most importantly, the product is not the same. The old product is 2.236" avg OA with a non cannelured bullet with a tangent ogive shape whereas the new product is 2.194" avg OA with a cannelured bullet with secant ogive shape. Now I have not yet had a chance to test the new cartridges but my experience tells me that, having tested a number of other cartridges, the new cartridge will be disappointing. The other possibility is that I will be pleasantly surprised. I will let you know after test firing.
The point is that Fiocchi should not use the same product number for two different cartridges even though the muzzle velocity is claimed to be the same. If they
had used a different product number I would not have bought the product because I already have enough other cartridges that I bought at pre panic prices which are satisfactory but nothing special. And at today's current prices, if that's what they turn out to be, I will just have wasted $50.00. And Fiocchi will have lost a customer for life.
