• Q: Since you sell 9x19, 9x18 Makarov, 9MMKurz/380ACP/9MM Short, is it safe to assume that just "9mm" implies 9mm Luger/9x19, etc?

  Yes, 9mm ammo is the same as ammo designated 9x19mm. 9×19 may be the most straight-forward name for the cartridge. The “9” simply notes the diameter of the bullet, which is 9.01 millimeters. The “19” designates the length of the case, which is 19.15mm.
• Q: Can this be used in a Glock 26 pistol? I'm told the ammo has to be luger type.

  Hi David, yes sir, you can absolutely shoot these from your Glock 26. .....9mm, 9mm luger, and 9mm parabellum are all the same round.

• Q: The description clearly says nickel plated. Neither the 9mm nor the 380 are nickel plated. Just brass that already shows signs of corrosion. What gives?
  Still will work but for those wanting the nickel coating…buyer beware.

  Milland, thanks for the update Sir. I have some from 3 or 4 years ago that was nickel plated and they stopped the nickeling about 2 years or so ago. Cheers and stay safe!

• Q: Will this ammo work well for home defense in a 9mm Ruger PC Carbine ?

  Yes, they will work very well. Hordany critical defense is highly rated and for good reasons. It has great expansion, good penetration, great weight retention and minimum jacket separation. So yes I'd definitely recommend this. Plus I own the Ruger PC carbine the American flag edition and great gun and in my opinion would make a great defense weapon. Hope this helps.

  A lot of manufacturers don't always send photos of each item, instead they use stock photos that are very similar for the retailers to use. The UPC and description are correct on this being 9mm Critical Defense 115 Grain ammo.
