The rifle looks great but the wood stock was darker than advertised. It took longer than I expected to ship but the deliver was on time.

The transaction with Bud’s was smooth. The rifle was sent to my FFL quickly, 2 days after the payment cleared. I got in on this model before the price increase. The wood is very nice, the blueing also. The MOA trigger is crisp, only dry fired at this point. The barrel contour seems a little lighter than my early 90’s push feed dbm sporter. The stock also feels slightly slimmer at the grip. IMO the Model 70 (wood/blue model) is the best looking rifle made. Will use Bud’s in the future, no doubt.
