Great shotgun for the money. I use it in 3gun has never had any issues, missfeeds or anything. Put slugs and cheap field rounds though it, eats everything. Love it.

Very impressed. Didnt wana cycle the cheap target loads at first but manually racked the bolt about 100 times until smooth , cleaned, oiled and adjust gas cylinder a hair and shoots perfect, no problems just follow directions. Thanks Buds.

Got the gun based on positive review in NRA magazine. Gun thus far is living up to that positive review. Manual recommends breaking in with heavier loads/high brass, but I jumped to field/light loads. Did have several failure to ejects and bolt didn't hold open on last shot. I adjusted the gas regulator to lighter loads and it is working like a champ right now.

After reading glowing reviews online of this rugged gun, I felt pretty confident ordering it. Out of the box it needed a good cleaning to remove the preservative but she looked very nice once cleaned. Fit and finish on external cosmetic parts was as good as any Remington I've owned. Off to the range, and the beginning of my disappointment. I purchased Winchester Super X Heavy Game loads for the break in. Owners manuals suggests heavy loads for the first 100 rounds. First shot, FTE. Second shot, FTE. I've since put over 100 shots through this and all have failed to eject. I've adjusted the gas spring in steps to both extremes and could not resolve the FTE issue. The gas spring on this is a flat coil spring. As you adjust the spring tighter, it compresses the spring and less gas escapes, and is forced back into the action. Loosening the spring widens the gap between spring coils and more gas escapes, and less pressure is exerted on cycling. Its stupid simple and indestructable. I'm trying to get USSG to contact me about returning the gun for warranty work. It has yet to eject a single shell. I've called and emailed USSG and a week on now and I've had no return contact. This speaks VOLUMES about a customer service department. Apparently they aren't concerned about their consumers having defective guns. They should be leaping at the opportunity to resolve a defective gun issue before a consumer is potentially injured. While I wait for the obviously (cause for concern?) overworked customer service department to get to my call, I've tried to further diagnose the problem. It appears to me the issue is not the gas valve, but rather the bolt. When manually cycling the action, there is a significant amount of pressure that must be overcome before the action releases the bolt lock and continues its slide backwards. My gut feeling is this is scrubbing off too much energy and the bolt ultimately fails to cycle back far enough to eject the shell. I've since lubed the heck out of the bolt mechanisms and judiciously applied Mil-Comm lube to the bolt locking mechanism. I'm convinced I have the lemon out of the production run. Its unfortunate as the rest of the gun represents a great value, nice overall construction and finish and a nice selection of interchangeable chokes. In my experience, this is an issue that should never leave the factory and the quality control failed this one. If this gun cycled properly, I'd give it a solid 5 rating. If and when USSG honors their warranty and contacts me, I'll update my review.
