Mount attaches directly to AK-47 type rifle with the attaching iron of the left hand side of the receiver. Mount is locked in place by three Allen head screws. the screws draw the mount against the rifle scope rail. Mount is designed to hold zero after removal. Mount is designed so that the iron sights and the scope may both be used. Accepts Weaver style rings on the Picatinny rail.

Mounted on my Saiga 308. Couldn't get 2 seperate scopes on target due to angle of mount. Bent it down to adjust--makes me skeptical of it holding zero since it adjusted too easily. Mount seems fairly stout but just letting y'all know it could happen. Will cost it a couple of stars. Wouldn't want to take it to war. Bud's was great.
