I bought the G33 for possible EDC, and have yet to decide if it is simply too harsh for that use. I also have a Springfield XD-357, which handles the recoil better but it not small enough for comfortable concealed carry.
As for strictly reviewing the G33, it has been 100% reliable, but the trigger is heavy and not smooth, reset is quick and short and better at that point. Sights are typical Glock -- they work for close quarters. The grip is small even with the extra real-estate of finger extensions on the magazines. Recoil, as I said, is very HARSH, and can even be termed as being painful: this is NOT a range gun to spend one hour shooting non-stop. Accuracy is okay with a strong double-hand-hold...
I'll keep it in my collection, but I do not believe I'd buy it again.... my 20-year old XD Springfield -357 Sig is far superior.
I could not be happier with my purchase
