yes it will you can shoot the weaker 223 in a 5.56 barrel with no issues but you cant shoot the more powerful 5.56 in a 223 barrel

Does this have a standard trigger, or like a "2 Stage Trigger"? Asking, because I know some State laws vary.

Jason, The standard trigger in a CZ Bren is a 2-stage trigger. 2-stage has nothing to do with a binary trigger. Where the hammer is released on the trigger pull and trigger release. A 2-stage trigger is very common in ARs, military and sporting rifles. Just means it has a take up stage to a wall then the hammer is released in the second stage. A 2-stage trigger is very standard. I am not aware of any 2-stage trigger restrictions in any states. Binary triggers maybe, but not 2-stage triggers.

David, Overall Length is 19.9" and Overall Weight is 5.4 lbs --- This Bren 2 comes standard from the factory with a flush rear plate which has the provision for attaching an AR-style buffer tube for the installation of an arm brace or other pistol stabilizing device. Alternatively should you decide to fill out a Form 1 with the ATF and after receiving approval with Tax Stamp in hand you could SBR this platform and install a stock or a new rear plate which will allow for a factory folding/adjustable stock.

Does this AR pistol,use Magpul AR pMags? Or AK mags. I ask because it is tilted as an AR pistol. But the picture shows an AK mag.

Erik, AR-15 style magazines and Drums are used. P-Mags, C-Products, Lancers, D&H, AMend-3's will all work just fine. Buds picture does have the famous AK Mag curve but this takes standard AR Mags and Drums. Cheers!

The Bren 2 Ms makes first landfall in the US in pistol form with multiple barrel lengths and two chamberings. With a trimmed-down aluminum receiver and a lower made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, the result is a robust but substantially lighter gun. Gone is the reciprocating charging handle, replaced with one that stays stowed in the forward position until it is needed. Swappable from side to side, it does double duty as a forward assist. Also added is an AR-style bolt catch/release system that is mirrored on both sides of the firearm, as well as a catch/release nestled into the front of the trigger guard. The magazine release and safety are ambidextrous. In pistol form, the Bren 2 Ms comes with a flush rear plate that has the provision for attaching a AR-style buffer tube for the installation of an arm brace, cheek rest, or similar pistol stabilizing device. AR-15 style magazines are used for 223 variants; all variants are swappable to different barrel lengths and chamberings and also feature a modular forend that can be swapped to different lengths.
