I see that this Sig 938 Spartan II in 9mm is cool. It appears to be the same pistol as the Legion but its not. The mags for the Legion do not fit in the Spartan. The Legion comes with 3 mags when the Spartan only comes with 1 mag. But they are going for the same price. I do not see anyone online selling the mags to the Spartan, including Sigs home site. They sell Legion mags but no Spartan mags. I want this pistol but I'm not going to buy it if I cant get mags and parts for it. Please inform.

So from what I've read the issue with magazine compatibility is that the legion has a flared magwell so the magazines have a swell on top of the baseplate, the Spartan is functionally a basic p938 with some cosmetic upgrades it doesn't have the flared magwell of the legion so there could be issues seating the magazines. But the standard (Flat baseplate) p938 magazines are supposed to work with this model. I've been looking for a small carry pistol for a while, this is the perfect size. very light compared to the compact 45 I've been carrying. put 50 rounds thru it so far with zero malfunctions. And it looks cool too which is always a plus. 5 stars for sure.

Looks better in person. Put about 50 rounds through, just breaking it in, and I did not have a single malfunction. I have only shot it with the 7rd pinky mag and it shot very well, it feels as accurate as my Glock G43X. I am happy with it. I wanted a smaller carry option for summer and it fits the bill.

Bought this gun to replace my Walther PPK .380, and I couldn’t be happier. I was looking for Sig (as they come highly recommended) and was first drawn to this gun for its distressed coyote aluminum. Now that she is mine I can say.... she fits my hand perfectly, doesn’t bruise my thumb on the recoil like the Walther PPK did and pulling the slide back is so much easier on the Sig. The night sites on this thing are crazy cool. (Many have asked me if they are green or red - mine came with green). I’ve shot 80 rounds and had only one stove pipe. If you are looking for a great, dependable gun that is easy to conceal, I would highly recommend the Spartan P938.
