A gunsmith I know and respect recommends this ammo for plinking at the range. it is inexpensive and burns pretty clean. I have used box after box without any misfires or other problems. Price from Buds is very reasonable. Other places charge $10 more per box and you still have to pay shipping.

Back in Oct 2017 I bought 1000 rounds of Aguila 62 gr FMJBT (not steel core) for $316 shipped with no tax. 31.6 cents a round seemed slightly high at the time but not in March 2022 with 5.56 NATO routinely bringing 75-80 cents a round!

I found this ammo to shoot very clean out of my S&W M&P 15 and was extremely accurate. I am glad that Bud's still has it in stock and have ordered it several times.
