Fiocchi 38 Spc 148 Grain Lead Wadcutter 50rd box - Brass Casing

This is great ammo for my S&W 52-2. cycles well, low recoil. my only concern for the future: i've had bad experiences reloading GFL cases. they tend to be soft to the point where the case folds back on bullet seat.

I'm relatively new to anything outside of 9mm handguns and 9mm ammo. Bought this to try out a variety of ammo in my Henry Big Boy X and yeah it doesn't work great. Sure you can single load directly in the barrel one at a time, but the super flat faced design of the wadcutter round makes it impossible to cycle load another round in. Granted people with experience with such rounds probably already know this going in. This review is mostly to warn off any other noobs like me from making the same mistake. Shoots great when loaded one at a time, just not quite convenient.

These 38 Special wadcutters feed, eject and are more accurate then my marksmanship in my Colt 1911 38 Super customized for 38 Special wadcutters. No more need to reload with the fair price and service from Buds.

I tried this Fiocchi 38 special wadcutter ammo because I heard it offered less recoil for my Ruger LCR 38. It absolutely has reduced it and made the LCR much more enjoyable to shoot. In fact I just placed an order for some more. The previous order was for Fiocchi Traditional Line made in Italy and now it has been substituted with the Range Dynamics Line made in USA. I hope they work the same.

Got these for cheap range ammo. Not much to worry about with a .38 round, and they've given no cause for concern. Go boom every time.

ON PAPER TARGETS THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN WADCUTTERS; LEAVING A NICE CLEAN, VERY VISIBLE HOLE THAT YOU CAN SEE WITHOUT A WALK TO THE TARGETS. THIS IS QUALITY.
