Awesome brace. This did fit my POF-5 great after I took a file and just take about .005” off the internal
Side rails. The rails on the end cap stick out just a little bit after the file it fits great. No need to touch any of the radius of the metal. Also the picture of this listing is for a K pistol. But the listing is correct and is not for a K and is a full length end cap for a PTR-9Ct and a POF-5. Great buy and best price I have found so I would say buy it. A+ on quality and price

It works! It is tight but it fits my pistol. Makes firing my pistol more fun, much more controllable, better in the long run.

First let me start by mentioning the excellent price, service and fast shipping Bud’s offered ! As for the brace, not so good, it does not fit my PTR MP5, when first unpackaged it could not even be tapped on, after a fair amount of time working the inside with a dremel rotary tool it still did not fit, but I was able to use a mallet to drive it on. The pin also had to be beat in, upon test firing the bolt stuck in the rearward position and only released when the retaining pin was drifted out. While the black finish coating the aluminum mount appears tough, it chipped when I had to use a 1/4” brass punch to remove the stock. I believe this unit was not machined properly because a HK branded retractable stock fits perfectly. I altered this brace, so I am not going place the burden on Buds, the manufacturer SBT is going to be called.

I bought two of these braces for two different PTR 9 pistols “MP5 clones” and am very happy with them. They fit the receiver good, a bit snug I had to tap on and off a couple times with rubber mallet but now after ten times on and off I can side it off by hand but is still snug and secure. I did have to run a drill thru the take down pin hole while assembled to get the brace, trigger housing, and receiver holes all inline. They were close but take down pin needed to be taped in and out with mallet before I ran a drill thru them. Also I had to cut just a little bit of plastic off the upper corners of the trigger housing for the brace to slide on all the way. These two things took just a few minutes and then I was ready to go.
I shot a few hundred rounds the one time I’ve had it out so far and it works great as a brace and is stock length so can be shouldered and works very well with the HK sights. I would consider this a must have for and MP5 or clone of one.

Great product, great pricing from Bud's! I was really surprised at the quality of the folding and latching mechanism of this brace. It is made of solid and durable aluminum and fits very snug onto the back of my MP5 copy. I had to give the brace a downward "whack" on the floor to get the pin holes to line up. Although I have not fired the weapon yet with this brace, I have read that due to the design of the MP5, a tight fitting end cap, butt stock or brace can cause the bolt system to not function properly. If so a little wiggle room can be made with a rotary tool inside the brace mount. I'll try it out at the range first!
Funny how the MSRP is the same price as a Form 1 or 4 stamp, huh? LOL! Maybe one day I'll go with a stamp, but for now, this is perfect!

Purchased this for a Vector Arms V93 and it fits great and works perfectly. This will keep me happy until the ATF and the NFA branch get their stuff together and starts processing stamps in a more timely fashion or even better the who NFA registry goes bye bye!...
