Really a nice shooter and a fantastic price. I was pleasantly surprised that this LE version came with an XS tritium night sight on the front post, and black out on the rear sight. It also came with 3 mags. I am very happy with my purchase. This pistol is truly a pleasure to shoot and very accurate!

Overall, the Walther PPQ M2 9mm 5" firearm is bar-none the best I have ever owned so far! Unbelievable reliability and trigger makes it formidable to any firearm I own or have sent rounds down-range in my life! I am a twenty-year retired Veteran and I have operated many different weapon systems in my day, and I wished I had-had this weapon in Iraq and Kosovo. I simply love this weapon. No failures of any kind or even lite primer strikes with the crappiest-cheapest ammo I fed it! Buds was excellent as always and from purchase to pick-up at the FFL was fast and easy!! Like all other pistols adopted by the US military, the P320 is destined for great innovation, improvement, and incredible popularity.
I like them a lot; but I like the PPQ more.
Quite simply, it is a better pistol; but the design of the P320 is incredibly versatile with the interchangeable modular fire control.

Overview: If you read nothing else, just know that this is a first class firearm, period. It's as good or better than every competitor out there and serves its intended purpose perfectly.
Pros: The PPQ M2 5" has the best combination of features available in any handgun below 900$ out of the box. The trigger seems to get the most attention, and while good, I personally find it no better than the H&K VP9 or the Canik TP series, which is to say that it is in the elite class of striker-fired triggers, albeit slightly overrated. Where this gun really shines is the ergonomics. It seems to just point and grip naturally regardless of circumstance. The long sight radius makes it easy to pick up the front post, and recoil is minimal. The audible and extremely short reset of the trigger makes quick follow up shots effortless. The controls on the gun are well placed with very little grip adjustment necessary to manipulate both the slide lock and magazine release. All major controls (slide/magazine release, trigger safety) operate perfectly with no unnecessary effort needed. It's as if Walther took a G17 slide, a 19 frame, and made the controls perfect. The accuracy on this gun is phenomenal and the pistol is easily capable of consistent silhouette hits at 100 yards. Yes, you read that right, 100 yards. Finally, the finish on the slide (tennifer) will please those who are fans of the Glock Gen 3 series, and the grip and lower are clearly well made.
Cons: Magazine capacity for the 5" seems somehow inadequate at 15 rounds. Perhaps that is because virtually every competing pistol (G17/34, Springfield XD, Canik TP9 series, SW MP, etc) offers 17 , or perhaps its because the gun is simply that easy to shoot, but the 15 round capacity seems inadequate. The entire philosophy of use behind the pistol seems strange anyway, and the role of this pistol aside from professional duty or home defense is limited. It is too big to carry concealed, too low on capacity for competition, and simply too nice to shoot to be a truck/location gun. While 2 mags are available, the price tag (40$) is a deterrent. The sights are basically small clones of the M&P series sights. For a novice shooter, the space visible between the front post and rear beads can be a nuisance. HOWEVER, it must be said that swapping the factory sights requires a little more than a 3/16 Hex driver and a flat head screwdriver. This is a welcome change over the competition (looking at you Glock),
Summary: Buy it. Pound for pound this is the best duty pistol available, and with Walther reliability and warranty, it's simply a no brainer at 414$.

I initially had some drama with this gun due to some service duty grade Winchester ammo! The only gun I could get to fire that hard primer ammo was a Beretta 92a1 which has a heavy steel hammer. All of the other ammo I then used in this gun performed great. It is very accurate with the longer barrel, and the fact that it has a wonderful trigger. Easy takedown for cleaning and thought this was a very quality made firearm. Still can't believe it was only $414.00, and that was for the Military discount version which came with 3 magazines. I use it for the range, because it's a big duty size gun, not sure I would carry this for self defense, even if it were a shorter barrel, due to the excellent trigger, and light pull with no manual safety. It's my understanding that when you manipulate the slide, you complete the cocking of the firing pin, and the release happens when trigger is pulled. Great gun, and the price is unbelieveable!!

I really like this firearm and it’s everything they have been saying about it. The trigger is extremely smooth and one of the best for a stock trigger. Fits the hand nicely and is even better with the extended magazines.
