What else can I say? Springfield Armory nailed it! This 45 ACP is great! I was really surprised with all the more recoil. Not much difference between my P365 in recoil. Bud's Guns is great to deal with and price is great. Everything went smoothly and I received my purchase when expected. Thanks Bud's Guns!

Well made product, functions perfectly. It does have a fair amount of recoil but is manageable. The night sight is a total waste of time, poorly designed or something but it is very hard to see. Shot a little over 100 rounds and no jams. Make a very good carry pistol in my opinion. This is my second Springfield and I would buy more.

Absolutely great gun! Its my every day carry now and pairs well with the cheap 20$ kydex IWB holsters from amazon and have had no issues in the 5 months i have been carrying and shooting it. I have put around 300-400 rounds through this gun straight without cleaning and it never misfired or jammed (this was within the first month of owning it) I have of course cleaned it and it has shot another 300 rounds through it just fine with no jams or anything, this pistol is really good for CCW since its small but still packs a punch with the .45ACP rounds. Only gripe i have is that the rear sights are blank, not even white dots to help center the front glow sight, how ever i have had no problem shooting up to 50 yards out. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone. Best part is that even being a .45 ACP the recoil on this gun is VERY small compared to my RI 1911. You cant go wrong with this gun unless you absolutely need the rear sights to have the dots to help center.

Great pistol, shoots great. New grip design is a huge improvement over the original. Front sight is very visible day/night. Would recommend 10/10

Great shooting gun. Small enough to carry concealed yet very powerful. Grip on the Mod2 is so much more comfortable. Love this gun!

Easy dealing with BudsGunshop.com. They are prompt and reliable, despite highly competitive prices. The XDs-45 functions flawlessly, about 100rds so far. Recoil is definitely more substantial than for example a SIG P365 in 9mm. But that's to be expected with a much more authoritative round. The gun is still very much controllable, in part due to outstanding ergonomics of the Mod.2, and also conveys a very substantial feel. Shot placement is as always quite important, even though a 45ACP round has more ability to get the job done. No need to have a whole bunch of rounds, if you place the ones that count properly. The XDs-45 will do its part to make that happen. This is an excellent gun I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind firing a spunky 45ACP. I carry the gun in an IWB Kydex holster and can't tell the difference between 9mm vs. 45ACP.

Good purchase from Buds. Great little shooting gun. 230 gr ball factory and 200 gr HP handloads both shoot about 2" high at 25 yards. Perfect functioning so far, about 50 rounds. Tritium front sight a bright green hollow circle and easy to pick up. Disassembly a breeze.
