Replica of the 1851 Conversion used in the 1960's Spaghetti Westerns.

You can hang 'em high or paint the town red with this 1851 Navy cartridge conversion revolver. Either way, this spitting image replica of the 1851 Navy model used by Clint Eastwood in the 1960s spaghetti westerns will surely set you apart from other sixgunners! Retaining a Civil War-era, black powder style loading lever, yet converted to handle modern factory smokeless cartridges in .38 Colt or .38 S&W Special, this 7 1/2-inch, octagonal barreled smokewagon is finished in blue and color casehardening, with a brass back strap and trigger guard. However, its handsome period varnished, walnut grips are uniquely inlaid with the Man with No Name's signature sterling silver rattlesnake, giving this revolver the appearance of being coiled and ready to strike! Here's a cartridge conversion sixgun, introduced by Cimarron that definitely stands out from the crowd!

The look and feel of the Man with no names Revolver is fantastic. It shoots and is pretty accurate. But with my particular pistol the cylinder sticks so I’ll be sending it back to be fixed. I read some others had this problem and also read that Cimarron has great customer service

This is a fantastic firearm. To start, its beautiful. The engravings, shape, and style are second to none. Second, the way it fires is excellent. There is little to no kick, the sights are on point, and it is very accurate. 10/10

I’m very pleased to own this piece. It’s beautiful and well done. I made my dad jealous with owning it. I took it out shooting some 38sp and it was a joy to shoot. It’s pretty accurate once you get used to it. All in all I love this fire arm. Glad it’s in the collection. I had no issues with loose or over tight parts, no scratches even though the packaging seemed pretty cheap. I would buy again and just might.

I returned the first one because it arrived with a locked cylinder and a loose loading gate. After some fiddling with the gun during inspection, the cylinder seemed to unlock but I think the assembly and QA were lacking. Bud's was very efficient at replacing it and the replacement was much better.
After taking it home, it proved to be very tight and smooth. It is a beautiful gun, shoots well, nice trigger, and very accurate.
Pros:
Looks great.
Comfortable grip if you don't have huge hands.
Nice light trigger.
Long heavy barrel absorbs a lot of the recoil.
Light loads hardly recoil at all. Makes for a fast shooter.
The silver snake is very cool if you know the history of it.
Cons:
Poor QA but well made as long as you check it well before going home with it.
High hammer spur, smaller hands may have hard time clocking one handed, but is authentic.
Sights are smallish making quick acquisition a little hard.
Requires tools to remove the cylinder (unless you want to beat the finish off with a rock).
Case ejector rod is not convenient but is authentic.
For the extra price, I was a little disappointed the snake was only on the right grip panel. Left handers who ho mi star strong side will not appreciate that.
Overall, if you want a true replica, most of the cons are a non issue. They are a product of being an accuratexreproductionnof onecof the first cartridge revolvers made having been converted from percussion. If you want the gun Blondie used in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, definately get this gun but inspect it before you buy it.

Great looking gun! Just bought a holster on Etsy for it as well. Gun seems put together well.I haven't it shot it yet as I'm planning on loading up some blackpowder rounds for it to try!
One thing to be wary of. I've seen online complaints that the cylinder can lock up or grind on the barrel. I have also seen plenty of explanation of WHY it does this. Do yourself a favor and read this CAREFULLY.. several people on YouTube gave it a bad review because of a self-inflicted problem:
There is no topstrap on this revolver. The cylinder rotates on a permanently mounted pin on the frame and can only be removed by pulling the barrel assembly off. The barrel is held onto the frame with a wedge. The deeper you push the wedge in, the closer the tolerance will get until you bind up the cylinder on the barrel assembly. Be very mindful how far you drive that wedge back in. Incidentally... make sure you have a wooden dowel handy because that wedge is very hard to remove without a few taps. It's a case of "too much is too much". Use a light hand and you will be fine. It's not a .357 magnum or .44.

A classic in its own right. Any fan of the Man With No Name films should own this gun.

I bought this as a fan of the Eastwood western movies. Would have liked it in a .45lc vice the .38 but it only comes in a .38. Gun is very attractive and fun to handle. I will eventually shoot it but have so many .357, .44, .45lc revolvers that it might be awhile. The only negative is the snake had fallen off the grip before I received it but I gave it a good amount of super glue and it is not going to come off again. Again, a .38 is not my go to round but this gun is a reminder of the movies that got me into collecting. Recommend this product for the Good, Bad and Ugly fans.

Actually, Mark, the Cimarron web site states: "1 Piece Walnut With Optional Rattle Snake Inlay Right Side" .. so the snake is only on the right side of the grip.
