Of all the shotguns I've owned during my 50-year lifetime, this bullpup is my favorite. It's compact and incredibly fun to shoot. I keep it loaded with home defense buckshot, which cycles perfectly. It's a real head-turner at the gun range. The angular body style along with its short-barrel design gives it that "Halo-like", futuristic look. Aside from loving the aesthetics, I'm also very pleased with the performance of this shotgun. I cycled about 200 rounds of Fiocchi Home Defense buckshot without a hitch. I followed up with another 200 rounds of cheap target shot and it cycled all of them perfectly once again. I've had my eye on this shotgun for quite a while, and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger on the purchase (pun intended). I'm incredibly happy that I found Bud's gun shop online! This is the fourth firearm I've purchased from buds, and I've been happy with every single transaction. Thanks Bud's!

My Tristar is ok. It doesn’t like the lighter loads as it tends to jam. Aside from that, it’s a cool piece to have on my gun wall. Buds Gun Shop is my go to for everything firearm related. Thank you!

Fun sci-fi shotgun. Works good with shells rated for 1350' muzzle velocity, under that it doesn't cycle reliably for me. Bullpup feels very bulky. Watch for pricing variations. I've seen this shotgun from $375 to over $700. I would look at the new S&W real hard but it's 2x the price too. For what this is for, it's fun and works well. I've shot birdshot to slugs and they all cycle as long as the power is up. The charging handle is a little unique.

Love this gun, put it on layaway, so satisfied with buds, for some weird reason my payment was short by .25 cents? Idk how that happens but buds took care of it, and shipped my new semi bullpup 12g !

If your looking to buy a bull pup shot gun this is the one to buy because you can run quite a few different shells through it at the same time it does hold up to 14 rounds it would be a great home s Defense weapon with the right shells i like centurions myself

Looking around for a home defense tactical 12g I came across the TriStar Bullpup. It was recommended to run 50rds through it for break-in. I had some 20 year old 2 3/4 12g rounds, a mix of birdshot, 00 buck, and a few slugs. After running approx. 40rds of the old ammo through I was thoroughly impressed. Only 1 round failed to fully eject (stovepiped) and maybe 6 did not feed from the mag to the chamber. Some of the old rounds brass ends had some corrosion and the factory magazines are a close tolerance and didn't feed those rounds well. I have ran approx. another 30rds of new 3" #4 birdshot through and the gun shot flawlessly. Only negatives are where the button to lock the bolt open is tricky to get to with your right hand when pulling the action open, and it's almost impossible to put a fresh mag in with the action closed (it can be done but not easy). Overall I am extremely satisfied with the weapon and price point. I would recommend. It is a blast to shoot.

I bought this because it reminds me of the halo battle rifle. This is fun to shoot. Only draw back is getting the mag in correctly. Doesnt slide in very easy and can get frustrating. It has a mini duckbill and feeds in similar to an sks mag but the magwell is wide and sloppy

bargain price for formidible and intimidating close quarter defense firearm. i cannot post the usual response when friends see it the 1st time because profanity always accompanies their wide eyes! Buds is the best.
