it kicks like hell with buck shot, but holds a great pattern at 40 yards. Just make sure when you buy bird shot u buy high brass. It will not eject low brass all the time

Very happy with this CZ 1012, super comfortable and functions flawlessly. Bought this gun primarily to replace/retire my old Rem model 11 for upland game and dove hunting. The 5 choke tubes are knurled and quite easy to change either in the field or while shooting skeet. This gun is fast to shoulder and on point, and will cycle anything you throw in it. Incredibly pleased with Buds pricing and prompt, free shipping.

Very nice quality! Light and balanced. The finish looks pretty durable but only time will tell. Bud's was fast to ship and great to deal with.

Sharp looking gun, very light and nice value with 5 chokes, case and shims included. Case is inexpensive but functional plastic shell with foam inside to hold in place the disassembled shotgun (need to remove barrel to put in case). Comes wrapped like a present within felt sleeves and bubble wrap inside the case. Shoots nice, even light loads. Only shot 50 shells so far but I like it. Comes with a pamphlet that covers every other cz shotgun but the 1012. No instructions to change shims but it's not rocket science either. Definitely worth the purchase.
