Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Light .22 LR 4.4" Diamond Gray Anaodized, Wood Grips 10+1 - 4.4" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds, Wood Grips, Adjustable Sights

This fire arm is an absolute blast shooting at the range. Very easy to load & reload, I pumped over 100 rounds first day with no issues.
Plus a lot of compliments on its appearance doesn’t hurt the ego either.

This pistol appears to have a threaded barrel from the picture. Once I inspected it at my FFL I realized that the piece on the end of the barrel is a cap with a rubber grommet that simply snaps on. The barrel is not threaded and the cap is only for looks which is really deceiving. The wood grips are way too big for my hands and are not comfortable. Too me they feel way thicker than any double stack 45. I was able to contact someone at buds guns through there online chat and explained to them the situation and told them I wanted to return or exchange it for the threaded barrel model with plain rubber grips. I was told by a Buds Guns support agent, that Buds would waive the 10% restocking fee this one time but that I would have to pay $25 to return it. They emailed my FFL a shipping label and told me that was all that I needed to do. My FFL advised me he would send it back. I am still waiting to see how this situation resolves. Hopefully I will end up with the gun I want. I have always had good customer service from BUDS GUNS in the past. Hoping this goes well too.

Very happy with my new Ruger 22/45 lite. Paying a little extra for the wood target grips and fiber optic front sight was well worth it. Bud’s service was quick and easy as usual.
