Bigger then I thought it was, this is no Pocket Pistol. Had to play with a couple time before it would fire but after that it fires fine. My wife did not like the kick but I didn’t mind.

A quality product that is also a lot of fun. I purchased in 9mm, to be compatible with my other pistols. Extremely well made with great of attention to detail. Full disclosure, I bought this solely as a “fun gun” grounded in my love for the classic TV show, “The Wild,Wild West;” where Robert Conrad as “James West” was always deploying a hidden Remington Derringer to extricate himself from various scrapes. Lots of fun with the additional barrels, such as .22LR, which makes it even cheaper to shoot. I also added aftermarket G-10 grips.

Great little pocket pistol! Shoots pretty good pattern at about 10 yards. But for a self defense weapon you don’t need to use at anymore than 10 yards! Highly recommend

Overall I found the fit and finish of this firearm to be excellent. The only gripe I have is the awkward trigger pull and stiff hammer pull back which takes a bit of getting accustomed too. Barrel interchangeability is pretty neat. Felt recoil is acceptable and the gun is comfortable in the hand even for those with moderately large hands. It does have a little heft for a small weapon. But, I think this helps balance the weapon out as far as helping manage the muzzle flip. Remember that this weapon is a last ditch weapon . By that I mean you have to be close to you assailant. I only took one star off due to the trigger and the hammer. This may be little picky considering what the weapon is. For the money and compared to other derringers I have shot, this is a great value.
