Hi-Point 4595TS 17.5" Woodland Camo 45 ACP Carbine - 17.5" Barrel, 9+1 Rounds, Synthetic, Polymer Stock

It may not be pretty but it's very functional. I've shot over 250 rounds through it with only one misfeed. The other thing that I like is the accessories that are available for this carbine. I added a stock magazine holder which comes with two magazines. It is a joy to shoot and I look forward to a long use.

Amazingly accurate and a bargain for a PCC,, Shooting .45ACP would have been more fun if it used my stacks of regular 1911 magazines... It sure draws questions at the range, and letting others try it has certainly made more sales for Hi-Point! It has not had any failures at all in the first 350 rounds..

Good shooter. Soaks up recoil, peep sight pretty good right out of the box, unusual bolt operation location on left side and very stiff (should get better with use), safety a bit hard to get to (will probably get better with practice), only 1 malfunction in the first 150 rounds and I think that was caused by a new Red Ball 20 rnd. magazine purchased from Hi-Point (that too should get better with use). Plenty of rail space. Sling is a little cheezy, but for the overall price it'll do. Biggest thing is that when you pull the trigger it goes bang.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this firearm, especially for its cheap price. I changed the charging handle with a larger one, which makes it easier to manipulate, added the mag carrier , put on a sling, and was very happy! No malfunctions, and was very accurate without touching the sights. The camoflauge pattern has a very good look to it. I understand there are available magazines now that hold 20 cartridges, I haven't tried them yet, but sure I will. You can't go wrong with these pistol cartridge carbines, plus you gain a bit in velocity due to the projectile having longer barrel to use up cartridge powder burning.

I have had this rifle for a bit over a month now. Put 200 rounds through it. 100 steel cased, 100 aluminum. It shot to the left really bad from the factory. I had to scrub it out because it was gummed up. Once I got it scrubbed out, shoots great. Accurate, reliable, and fun. I would recommend the aluminum cased ammo better, the mags seem to like it better than steel. These are the 20 round redball mags. They are available from hipoint's website, as Bud's does not carry them yet. All around great gun. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 just because it was gummed up so bad on arrival. If not for that, 5 stars all day long. I would recommend to anyone, just clean it before taking to the range.

This is my second Hi Point carbine. Own a 9mm in solid black. Wanted one in .45 ACP and opted for the Woodland camo version. This gun is amazing. Appearance in person is over the top the pictures don't do it justice. The carbine like the 9mm version is accurate and reliable. Have fired over 300 rounds through it without a hiccup of any kind. Have run steel case ball, HST JHP, and Speed Gold Dots. Both carbines function great. Picked up a Redball 20 round magazine for the .45 and it runs perfect with it. Highly recommend this carbine.

Super looking gun but the spring is extremely hard to cock and the question to my gunsmith about changing the tension was down-played so I will have to shoot 500 rounds to see if it loosens up. Also the mechanism on the left side of the bolt to hold the chamber open is a cheap plastic piece that is extremely hard to set in place. Who thought this was a good engineering idea??? Suggest the manufacturer use metal and have some modification to make the bolt stay open on it's own until a magazine is inserted and then will close. I may have to get replacement parts as this thing is going to break within a year. Looks great but the safety and bolt mechanism are cheap and it seems this gun was made by a Chinese toy company with the firing mechanism made in Siberia or some 3rd world country I have it now so I will "Try to make it shoot". Also you get what you pay for an this was an inexpensive firearm so it is my fault. Don Deutsch
