The old Para double stack magazines had some issues that have been addressed by Remington and the new Remington magazines work best in the double stack.

Yes you can John. Some may say it's not necessary but the FLGR was designed to do nothing more than increase the weight at the muzzle to reduce (marginally) the muzzle flip. It serves no other purpose. It will require a GI Style "Recoil Spring Plug" and here is a How to Video - (youtube.com/watch?v=2zF81En6p8c).
