Rossi USA R92 Lever Action Carbine 357 Magnum/38 Special 20 10+1 Brazillian Hardwood Stock Stainless Steel - Stainless/Silver, 20" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds

After reading and doing a good deal of research on Rossi 92's I decided to purchase one. The cost versus other Winchester replicas was hard to ignore. *Finish The stainless steel finish is shiny, and has a slightly brushed look to it. It's almost impossible to keep fingerprints/smudges from showing, but I love the look of stainless on guns! The wood stock and forearm look great, lots of wood grains/lines showing and the stain color is a brown/red which goes really well with the stainless. Pictures online don't do a good job of capturing the stain color. The fitment of the wood, especially on the forearm piece aren't very good. On one side, the interface between the receiver and wood is decent, on the other side of the gun, the wood sticks out a few mm. *Rifle Action/Performance Out of the box the Rossi felt pretty good. I think this is very subjective though. When you dissemble the gun to clean, it becomes apparent that the minimum amount of machining work was done to build and fit this rifle. It doesn't detract from the functionality at all though. My Rossi has fed 38 special and 357 just fine for me. The loading gate is extremely stiff. Using the next bullet to push each previous bullet into the magazine tube is the way to go. One other thing to note, the rear of the bolt is EXTREMELY sharp. I have cut my thumb pretty bad twice so far on it. *Summary Overall I'm very happy with my Rossi 92. It was very affordable for a pretty stainless lever action in one of my favorite calibers. I personally bought it with the intend of smoothing the action and tinkering with it. I have resolved alot of the complaints I mentioned above at this point. Would highly recommend

So far so good, fun to shoot and walk the woods with. Not a negative but the placement and function of the safety takes some getting used to. It's what I expected and I'm glad I made the purchase. i'll get back and let you know more of what I think after I put another couple of hundred rounds through it.

I searched for a lever action rifle in .357/38 special for a while. I liked the Rossi for its weight and balance. So far I fired 150 rounds of both .357 magnum and 38 specials and the gun has worked flawless. The fit and finish is perfect. I can find no flaws.in the appearance

Do not buy this gun after 250 rounds gun jammed, miss fired, and injects two rounds at once fired or not.

My first rifle. It's good looking enough to display on the wall, it's lots of fun to shoot 38s at the range and if ever needed, 357mags can do the job. Big fan and Budguns will get future business from me!

I couldn't be happier with this Rossi 92 lever action. Looks smooth and shoots well. Buds continues to provide excellent sales and service. Will definitely shop here again!

Great carbine. I have not had a malfunction yet. The machining is very precise and the parts are fit well. The barrel band screw was stripped, but one call to Rossi in Georgia and a replacement was here in 3 days.
