Overall fit and finish is great especially at the price point. Trigger is pretty stiff out of the box but is easily adjusted by following the manual or videos online. For reference, this has the exact same trigger assembly as the QB78 and QB Chief. Cleaning the barrel is recommended prior to shooting. There was a lot of oil/preservative in mine. The entire barrel shroud assembly unscrews and should probably be cleaned out as well. There is light spring tension from an internal spring inside the shroud, between the end of the barrel and the plastic baffle. Not enough tension to be dangerous, just keep a hold of the shroud when unscrewing. The set screw that holds the threaded collar to the barrel was loose on mine so make sure to check while the shroud is off. The pressure gauge is different from the pictures. It is actually black with very fine numbers and lines. A little difficult to read so I just use the gauge on my bulk tank when filling. Hawke Endurance 4-16x50 30SF scope mounted without issue using BKL Medium rings. JSB 10.34 pellets were, by far, the most accurate in my rifle. Velocity is a little lower than expected at 824fps with the 10.34 JSB. Accuracy is on par with rifles several times the price.

There is a good reason why these are so in demand. A great gun for people who are making their entry into PCP airguns and for people like me who have several. This is a fun gun to shoot, it's very accurate and you get about 80 shots on one fill. With 18-20 foot pounds of energy it's more than enough for smaller critters. I noticed mine like the JSB heavy 10 grain pellets and Crosman Ultra Magnum dome 10 grain pellets. The trigger is not top notch but it's by no means a bad trigger, especially on a gun costing so little. All in all a great gun that shooters of all experience will enjoy.
