Magtech .38 Spc 148 Grain Lead Wadcutter - Brass Casing

Extremely disappointed. Magtech is my go to range ammo in 9mm. Clean shooting and 100% reliable. It made perfect sense for me to purchase these for my new .38 special. I wanted to like these and maybe even use as EDC in my snub nose. Two hard primers that didn’t fire in my first 20 rounds. Defeats the reliability of carrying a revolver.

Great ammo. Mild recoil and muzzle blast. Too soon to tell about accuracy -- still getting used to a new pistol. I will continue to buy the ammo. Extremely fast shipping.

Revolver, so problems are rare anyway. Wadcutters are nice at the range, and these seem accurate and fairly pleasant to shoot. I actually carry these as a defense round sometimes.

Hard to find around here without running around to gun shops, sporting goods stores and spending a half day looking. At Bud's I spent less than a half hour; had it in a couple days. You guys are awesome.

I like these lead wadcutters as a low recoil option for my Ruger and Kimber snubnose revolvers, switching from these lighter rounds to increasingly aggressive loads like lead semi wadcutters, FMJs, defense designed hollowpoint +p's and back. The Magtech LWC's are consistent performers. Like most lead rounds they feature some smoke and residue compared to the jacketed ones, but hit point of aim at 5, 6, and 7 yards.
