I've put around 700 rounds through it at this point and it works fantastic. No jams and it cycles great. It'd easy to clean and I love the feel and wide grip, as I have bigger hands. My only complaint is that the bushing was very hard to rotate the first few times. Ended up having someone grind a bit down because it was rubbing so bad. Slick, smooth, and comfortable!

Fantastic gun. Shoots and groups as well as my 92 FS. Recoil is light only slightly more than my 9 mm. The 5 in barrel all steel gun, while not lite weight, makes it fun to shoot. Glad I bought it. Hi cap mags from MecGar for Para Ord P14 work perfect.

I purchased the Rock Island 45 ACP GI standard and changed the hammer to a combat hammer and a beavertail grip safety and test fired it and it shoots dead on target. I like all

Very sturdy have taken it on numerous hikes, hunts, and trips around the ranch. I hit it, bumped it, dropped it and still hits the target. The sights and unsightly but for me work well for up to 50 yards.

Impressive quality for the price! I have always appreciated the design, feel, and 14 round capacity of the Para Ordnance P14 in 45 acp but am not a fan of alloy frames. This RIA 1911 A2 has all the advantages of the P14 with an all steel frame for a fraction of the cost. If I were forced to find points of criticism I would say that the front sight blade is too thin, though visible, and I prefer bluing to the coating applied. Although a heavier piece, especially when loaded, I plan to replace my current Springfield 1911 for daily carry after a thorough and successful shakeout at the range. Yeah, I’m an old man...and after 30 years of law enforcement I just feel comforted with 14 rounds of 45 in the 1911...

I just love armscor Rock island armory firepower their weapons are fabulous The price point is great and the quality is really great and mostly all steel or partly steel fire weapons can be used for a long long time without any trouble whatsoever so I'm very very pleased with their products especially this new one I got which is a 45 APC 1911 full size thank you Glad I looked it up online

Picked up my gun yesterday. Looked great, was packed in oil and came with one 10 round magazine. Cleaned it up and fired 350 rounds in one session. This was a mixture of 230 gr FMJ, 200 gr SIG HP, 200 gr Hornady Critical Duty+p. Zero malfunctions and great accuracy. I've already purchased P14 mags and they work great! Very pleased with the performance, workmanship, and comfort. Great value.

Not your army 45. The trigger pull is lighter and of course the grip is wider. I does not sound like a coffee can full of bolts when you shake it. My 1943 build US Issue shot 3 targets away from my assigned target but this one is dead on. A very good gun! A friend said it was heavy compared to his Glock 9 mm.
