Julian - Red must be the most popular color. Couldn't find one anywhere for sale. Only thing available seems to be black, brown and grey. The cerakote route may be the only way you get one of these in red - or you could order one direct form Armscor, here: https://armscor.com/files/ATFIC_Firearms_and_Frames_Exclusives_9.18.17_-_Fillable.pdf

Anywhere other than Cook Co, Aurora, or Highland Park, it should be good to go. Check with a local FFL to verify, however, as you are ultimately responsible for possessing it.

This is a yes and no situation. Illinois is bad but there are places you can. We have a similar situstion in California.

Looking to buy this and wanted to know if it is accurate with slugs for deer hunting. Thanks.

Ture, the 20inch barrel will be accurate enough for deer Sir. I would pattern a few slug loads to find what brand/type is the most accurate and then stock up on that particular lot. Good hunting!

It seems there's a limited amount of people posting who are pleased with the performance of slugs through this gun, but seeing as this shotgun comes with choke tubes, I'd imagine you're limited to Foster or Brenneke style slugs. I'd contact RIA directly to see what they recommend in terms of slug usage.

The ultimate design and features of an AR semi-automatic shotgun using a conventional gas-operated action which is located around the support tube that runs below the barrel. The return spring is also located around the same support tube which is concealed by an enlarged polymer handguard . The barrel can be very easily removed from the upper receiver. The upper receiver is manufactured from an aluminum alloy. The magazine release button mimics the M16 rifle location. The manual safety also duplicates the M16 style being located on the left side of the receiver above the pistol grip. The top of the receiver has a carrying handle and integral picatinny rail for mounting rear sights, or any optical accessories. The VR60 12 gauge shotgun is appropriate for all levels of hunting and sporting enthusiasts. Comes packaged in a nice commercial box with the chokes and magazine. Removable A-2 style carry handle allows for quick conversion to a flat top. Chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" Magnum loads.
