Excel Accelerator Pistol MP-22 Double Action 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR - 8.5" Barrel, 9 Rounds

I bought excel 22 mag a while back i love the gun its kinda long which i like its very stable i used a couple different ammos but i expierence some feed jams can anyone suggest a ammo that they used in that gun without feed jams

This is one of those rare pistols that may end up as one of your gun safe queens! Everything looks and works great. I would definitely recommend this pistol. Very unique style and solid. But heed my advice!: Make sure you get the CORRECT 22LR ammo!! Check the FPS. VERY IMPORTANT. READ THE MANUAL. It cannot fire regular speed 22LR successfully (not enough power to make it cycle) Try CCI 22A ammo is a good suggestion. They have it here at Buds most of the time.

Save your money !!! Gun is not worth the metal its made of. First it would not eject a round second it would not feed a round . never have i owned a gun with so many problems . Looks great thats about it.

Have two. They are not for sale or trade. Takes a few boxes of good ammo to break in, but, a GREAT sidearm. I only wish they had a higher capacity magazine.

Hats off to Buds again. After picking up this 22 WMR from my FFL, I took it home and tore it down and did a through clean and lube, and happy to report today I fired 50 rounds of 40 grain Fiocchi ammo with no problems at all, no jams, no FTF, and no FTE it ate all of it. The gun is super accurate with out a red dot, but I plan on installing one anyway. The trigger is nice and crisp with a solid reset. This is a heavy gun, not to heavy but you do notice the weight when holding it up. Mine came with a charge handle which is a nice feature and trust me you will be using it as the slide is stiff and heavy when pulling it back, but the charge handle makes it a breeze. 22 MAG is a hot round and this thing puts out a nice fireball at the end. The gun speaks for itself as several people at my local indoor range walked over to check this thing out to see what was so loud and looked really cool, and the workman ship looks like it will hold up for years to come this thing is a solid piece of metal. Overall super happy with the 22 WMR EXCEL and will be putting the 5.7x28 EXCEL on lay way soon. Happy shooting.

I can't say enough about just how cool these "not by any means" little pistols are.. they are extremely accurate and run pretty well after a break in, as well as extremely well made. They longer barrel length really allows you access to the full potential of the 22wmr, and believe it or not, you know it. These are in no way small or light guns, but oddly enough you do get more of a recoil impulse than you expect from both a 22wmr or a heavy gun like this. The blast is intense as well. I definitely am looking to purchase the other barrel lengths as well as the carbine

Make sure you do the entire 200 round break in. Had a few stove pipe and ftf through 125 rounds . no problems for the last 150. Heavy gun , shoots pretty accurate.

I have not shot this yet. However as always I am totally happy with Buds Gun Shop. Item is exactly as described, payment was a breeze, they even remembered my prefered FFL dealer. Shipping was quick, the whole process is quick, easy and pain free. This was my first time trying their price match. While it did not lower the price quite as low as their competetor. It did save me 18$. Which I figured is good enough. I know it would have taken the other company at least a week longer to process and ship. As far as the Excel Accellerator itself. Well, its cool. I like the fact that it is optics ready. Being an older shooter I have adopted Red Dot Sights. Mounting my choice was quick and easy. I like that it came with 2 magazines. And that it has a sturdy stainless steel barrel. Until my case for it arrives from Amazon so I can take it to the range that is about all I can say. Other than I will continue to be a loyal Bud's Gun Shop customer. And that I think I found a winner. Time will tell.

I wish this pistol functioned as well as it looks. Even after the 200 round break in period that the manufacture suggests, with 40 grain 1875 fps ammo, i was still having failures ranging from failure to feed, and extraction issues mostly stovepipes every 3-4 rounds. I took apart the magazines, and the plastic followers where very rough. After taking some super fine sandpaper to them I only have issues once every few magazine changes. Now I'm 500 rounds of 22mag through the gun and it seems to be settling in. Very pleased with Bud's service, but the firearm itself made for some very frustrating trips to the range.
