No, its not threaded. I would call a Buds employee if this is a problem. 1-859-368-0371. They should allow you to transfer your payment to the correct model you're looking for. Sometimes they charge a fee for this, but in this situation I don't think they will charge a fee. Just explain how misleading the picture is and you should be okay to get your payment transfered to the one you want. A refund is also an option here.

My first purchase from Bud's and certainly not my last. Great service, quick shipping, and a phenominal price! My rifle did have a muzzle brake, which I did not want, but luckily my local gun shop easily removed it and replaced it with the thread protector that is included with the rifle. I'd rather have a suppressor than a muzzle brake on a mild recoiling .25-06 rifle. Mossberg 4x4 rifles were great quality - unfortunately they are discontinued - so snap one up while you can!

After giving the rifle a good once over making sure it was clean I proceeded to the shooting bench and was very pleasantly surprised! With copper hunting bullets loaded by a familiar maker I was able to consistently get 1" groups after firing some break in groups, cleaning between each shot, all in one shooting session. Zero feeding or extraction issues out of the box. The muzzle break is something I may well remove as it does increase the noise level considerably. Great gun for a small price!
