I purchased a Para Warthog several years ago and love it. It is double stacked .45 ACP, black finish, with "P10-45 Limited" stamped on the slide and "Para USA Pineville NC" on the frame. See. # P234178. I was told it was made for and displayed at a national gun show. I would like to know anything about the "Limited " marking and its value in like new condition.

Gary, excellent condition should fetch between $700 to $850 for the standard model. If it is a limited it could be worth $1200+.

The one sold here went for $450, if it were 90%-100% condition it would likely have commanded $600. Yours may carry a premium if there is provenance to prove its limited or a part of a historical event of importance.

Although it was advertised as used, the one I received is in great shape. You can only tell it was used by the marks on the outside of the barrel once you pull the slide back. Great looking gun, but have not shot it yet. On the down side, it is not as pictured: The barrel, grip safety, safety lever, hammer, take down lever, grip screws and mag release ARE NOT SILVER, BUT BLACK. Everyhing else was exactly as pictured. This gun was my tenth experience with Bud's, which seems to grow even better with time... :P . Excellent service and prompt delivery are the trademarks of Buds Gun Shop. Thanks guys!!!

The pistol I got was closer to 80%. The finish was roughed up and it took an hour of soaking and scrubbing to clean this “display” pistol. Guess I don’t have to worry about breaking it in. It looked like a few hundred rounds went through it without ever being cleaned. The trigger isn’t the skeleton trigger pictured. Guess they warn you about the pictures not always being right but I thought the Warthog came with that trigger (wrong). However, after a good cleaning and oiling it went through 40 rounds of Winchester without a hitch. The size and feel of the pistol are great, good job Para. If it keeps shooting that well for the next couple hundred rounds my carry 9mm will get replaced.

Purchased used Para Warthog display model. It looked brand new and shoots great. Great deal i would definately recommend.
