Joseph, it would be wise to get a 9mm magazine for reliability with 9mm ammunition as well Sir.

Joseph - The barrel is all you will need to convert the pistol to 9mm. The 40 mags can be used for 9mm, however depending on the spring strength of each individual mag, the 9mm rounds will likely start popping back out before the mag is full, due to their smaller diameter. I would plan on getting my 9mm Glock mags if I was going to use the 9mm barrel a lot at the range (to save $$) .I think you will like this barrel. They are noticaebly more accurate than the Glock barrels - at least the ones in the Gen 1 - 4 Glocks.

Yes it is Mark. I have a Storm Lake 10mm 6" Barrel for my Glock 20 and it is top quality with Full Case Support. No worries here with Stormlake. You will need a couple hundred round break in period but, this is to be expected.

Machined from certified 416R stainless steel for superior strength, durability, and accuracy. Barrels are match grade, hardened to 40-42 HRC and cut broach rifled to shoot jacketed or lead bullets. All barrels are chambered for full case support. All Glock barrels are drop in and will only occasionally require modification to fit.

I now have a Glock 19 but I still own my 23, which is why I bought this product. It works flawlessly as far as shooting with no issues, no jams or misfires, the only issue I had, if you want it to work just like Glock 19, swap the extractors because the brass wants to eject into your head, I for some dumb-butt reason just decided to buy the Glock 19 which I do not regret, like I have said, G19 is the best handgun I have ever owned. But this conversion barrel is great, and you don’t have to spend $500-600 for a new gun. And if you are like me, shooting with a team/friends, just like having fun. I recommend this barrel!

I had FTF issues with this barrel. I don't know if it was the ammo, or barrel. I still have more testing to do. I will update when I get it straight.
