Picked up my new SPX yesterday. Range trip results today: slugs/buckshot 100% no failures. Birdshot - FAIL. Double feed. Only tried a couple of birdshot rounds. Both jammed up and double fed. Kind of bummed out about it, but not completely surprised. Really glad that the other shells functioned flawlessly. As a side note, I did not clean this prior to shooting. Not sure if that would make any difference. I've heard that auto-loading defense shotguns can be finicky with lighter loads (ie. birdshot), and that most are tuned for heavier loads. If anybody has any thoughts, comments, suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks.
