Hornady TAP Barrier 62gr 223 Remington Ammo 20 Round Box - Brass Casing

A Must Have!! This 62 Grain Barrier TAP is one of the absolute Best 1:8 Twist or slower ( 1:9, 1:10, 1:12 Twist Barrels on the market).. These rounds pass the IWBA (International Wound Ballistics Association) FBI Test Protocol with ease in all of the numerous tests, and was tested by NTOA (National Tactical Officer's Association with outstanding results scoring a 4.95 out of 5.0 top score .. The 62 grain & 64 grain Boned rounds are the best universal loads for multiple Barrel Lengths and various Twist Rates.. I highly advise all officers attend a wound ballistics workshop, and thoroughly test your department's duty ammo for the best performance in your issued weapons!! HORNADY TAP RIFLE loads all have Excellent Terminal Performance. I prefer the Bonded Soft Point Barrier and Interlock Loads over the BTHP (Boat Tail Hollow Point) loads for consistent expansion and penetration, barrier blind, very short necks of 1-2 inches before full expansion, straight paths of penetration!! BTHP's might have more fragmentation characteristics, but expansion can be inconsistent some expand perfectly after 2-3 inches of penetration while others might travel a full 4-7 inches before any expansion occurs, and sometimes they penetrate straight while other times they veer off course.. The only saving grace with Hornady's BTHP TAP loads are they utilize a much larger and deeper hollow point cavity, and slightly thinner jacket over the other competitors, which give a higher 95% chance of the rounds not being plagued with the infamous (BTHP DOWNFALL) but actually performing perfectly on target with exceptional accuracy.. I use these in a bolt action 223 Remington rifle. Extremely accurate and reliable.

I took my AR out to the range and zeroed in at 100yrds with these 223 Rem 62gr Tap's very quickly. I'm going back to set it up at 200yrds next and I can assure you the Tap's will perform.
