What a shooter, nice set up. Bud's is good

I own several 10/22 models and this is the most problematic rifle of all. Feeding and ejecting issues almost every 5 rounds with different type of ammo. Other than that, is a beatiful rifle. Well balance with an awesome texture on the stock. The rifle seems very solid and well made. Trigger is okay (could be better based on the price). Extended magazine release is plastic. For the price I was expenting more aluminum than plastic. Weight is perfect and shoot very accurately but it was a nightmare to cycle correctly.

Amazing gun, accuracy is dead on, trigger is 2.5 lb with crisp break.
Overall craftsmanship is excellent.
It comes with a very nice hard case.
Ole Bill Ruger would have been proud of this one.

Not the best example of a 10/22. The definitive Pig in a Tutu is a good start.
My opinion has nothing to do with Buds so let’s not fault them. A firearm with potential, but I got the last fat chick in a bar at 2am.
Chattered barrel flutes and tool marks. A composite stock with unfinished bedding edges, yet the receiver is very well done.
Simply hit or miss quality control and across all lines. I buy Ruger Alaskans and send to an American Pistol Guild member, spend 4k to make it a work of art, but even than, I have find a clean base copy.
Boutique builders forward Ruger. Instead of selling firearms to responsible citizens, how about you responsibly build firearms first.

Great looking gun, not at all too heavy, good balance. I have had it to the range once with some good news and some bad. The Good: It was extremely accurate with SK Standard Plus ammo and I was very pleased with that. The Bad: It would not function at all with CCI Standard plus ammo. Every round jammed and I gave up after the first mag. When I got home I tested it with a good variety of ammo and had failures to feed with quite a few of them. The tip of the bullet would catch on the edge of the chamber and gouge the bullet. Also it would not extract unfired rounds of some of the ammo varieties. I did test it with three other magazines with the same results. There is long thread on Rimfire Central where other people are have the same issues. 97 After talking to Ruger customer service I shipped it back to see if they can get it to function properly. It was delivered there a few days ago so I have not heard anything from them yet. This gun has great potential but Ruger needs to work out some issues first. I really hope they can fix mine but others have reported mixed results after having sent theirs back for the same reason. If it will not function reliably after getting it back I will see if Ruger will take it back somehow.
