What is "SHOT SPECIAL" does it mean its been sho

No it doesn’t mean it has been shot. It was a show edition special gun. If anything, it was test fired for quality purposes, but not sure on that.

Scott, This Kimber was introduced at the 2019 shot show for a limited run. Retailers can order up to Feb 28. 2019 then run stops. They have this model with upgraded sights and laser grip for MSRP of $819 and model without lase grip for MSRP of $779. Great deal on it here at BUDs.

Sir, it comes with a red laser grip as standard. It does not appear Kimber offers this option on the Micro 9 LG, but, you could call Kimber direct and ask them at (888) 243-4522 Hours: M–F, 9:30 a.m.– 6 p.m. Eastern Crimson Trace does manufacture green laser grips for the Kimber Micro 9 pistol, These grips are Model LG-409G. Hope this helps.

W Troy, this laser package is "Red". It is not currently available in "Green".

this comes with the red laser and it is nor offered with the green laser you may be better off buying the gun without the laser then getting the Green laser grips that you want

Love the gun but was disappointed that the safety would creep up slightly aftern1-2 rounds, just enough so the gun would not fire.
Only got to put 3 clips through it, each time this happened, had to send it back, after researching this in chat rooms, there are other cases where it has occurred.
I have a plain 2 tone micro nine that has no issues what so ever. It's almost as if the safety does not click into the off position correctly. Hopefully kimber is able to resolve the issue, it can not be used as a reliable CC with this issue.

I like the fiber optic sight, the integrated laser switch works flawlessly. If you want a laser this is a very nice setup. I was impressed by the Micro's accuracy, the extended mag makes my grip very comfortable. My only complaint is the length of the take down pin. It is slightly recessed and requires a punch when the weapon is disassembled. It is an unnecessary nuisance.

Feels nice in the hand and has a smooth break. Form and function are good and just needs a hundred or so rounds to break it in. Overall good buy and a nice gun.
