For the money, it’s virtually impossible to beat a Howa. Japanese precision at bargain prices. They shoot like guns far more expensive, and are ruggedly built with their hogue stocks. Additionally, because they’re modeled on the Rem 700 footprint, they have a lot of aftermarket parts and accessories. My only complaint is they have few stainless options, at least that I am aware of. I’d like it if they were at least assembled here in the US too.
