Cimarron Holy Smoker SA 45 Long Colt Revolver - Blue/Black, 4.75" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Polymer Grips

Put about 200 rounds through it so far, and I love this SA revolver! Its a beautiful firearm which looks exactly how it does in the photo! My only complaints would be that it only has three clicks on the hammer pull, which I thought it would be four. Also the grip is pretty small for my hands, so its hard to get a good grip on it when I'm aiming it. Other than that I'm more then satisfied with my purchase! Would strongly recommend this revolver if your looking for a cheaper alternative to an actual Colt SA army revolver.

Haven’t shot it yet but it’s awesome to look at and handle. The finish is great and the action is smooth. Trigger is nice and cylinder doesn’t hang up one bit. It’s really a nice addition to my collection. Bud’s had the best price anywhere!

I received this handgun yesterday, it arrived in brand new and in perfect condition. Other than the Colt single action revolvers this Cimarron Holy Smoker revolver is one of the nicest looking single action revolver I have seen.

Okay, I received this gun finally after putting off the purchase for years. My impressions are this (I will do cons first): - Advertised 4 clicks are non existent. The first quarter-cock click does not exist. You can feel resistance where it should be but no audible click and the hammer does not lock at "quarter-cock". First audible and lockable click is the second click "half-cock" where you can do your loading and unloading. This is interesting because the owners manual specifically mentions functionality of the "quarter-cock safety position" but as far as I can tell it is non-existent or flawed. If this is a deal-breaker for you, sorry. But it was not for me. I would prefer a true 4-click action but am not returning the product over it or crying about it because the gun is still awesome, I knew I was buying a clone and not a true Colt. - As for the grip (which is the whole gimmic of the Holy Smoker) If you are unaware the gold crucifix is only on the right side of the grip. This is not a major issue unless you are a left handed shooter carrying on your left hip (cross would be against your body). Thankfully I am not but I do wish it was on both sides for aesthetics. Also grip related, the grip is described as black wood...it is black but not so sure about the wood part. The black is definitely some sort of plastic coating, under it may be wood, I am not sure. I did drop the gun on some tile like an idiot and piece of the black coating chipped just enough to see that it was some sort of plastic coating. I think I can repair it and make it unnoticeable thankfully. - That is it for cons. Other than the non-authentic action and the knock off grips the gun is pretty sweet. The aging on the metal is beautiful, I mean it LOOKS like it was made in 1873. After a quick clean and oil everything functions and moves beautifully. I cannot wait to go out and put some rounds through it. Functionally I believe it will be a great gun and talking piece. Besides a couple of cheap parts I cannot argue with it. I love it already. Now if I can just stop picking it up just to admire it and dropping it on hard flooring.

I purchased this gun thinking it had the traditional 4 click hammer. It doesn't. It has the three click hammer with the internal safety. It feels more like a Ruger than a Colt. It has a nice fit and finish though. This is why I am only giving it three stars. I sold my last Cimarron because of this issue. It seems that all of the new Cimarron imports have this hammer safety and if that doesn't bother you, than this is the gun for you. I will keep it for a while since I have an original Colt SAA.
