Rodney, it is not the same ease as the 380 EZ (due to a slightly heavier recoil spring than the EZ) Sir but, it is one of the easier racking 9mm's available on the market.

Its not bad its has enough size to be able to gran the slide and is one of the easier 9mm guns to rack

Guy, no Sir. They will not work in the Security 9 Handgun. The PC Carbine has "Interchangeable magazine wells for use of common Ruger® and Glock® magazines.

Guy, No the Ruger Security 9 will not work with Glock magazines. Some pistol caliber carbines are set up to use Glock magazines. Very few handguns of other brands are. They want to sell their own magazines.

no the Security 9 will notwork with glock mags. you are (most likely) thinking of the Ruger PC9 carbine which will work with glock mags

No "Manual Thumb Safety". It does have a Bladed Trigger Safety and Internal, Secure-Action Hammer (Drop Safety).

Great gun straight out of the box. I did upgrade the trigger & that made a world of difference. Glad to see Ruger, is now providing higher capacity mags. This gun is affordable quality. Lastly, Bud's comes through again.

The Ruger Security 9 handles and shoots very well, easy recoil/ The trigger is nice, even though the reset is a tab long. I like the gun itself very much. The only problem that I had was with the magazine. On two occasion I had bullets jam up within the mag, causing a additional problem with rounds feeding into the chamber. The problem was not with the gun, but with the mag.
