Grant, This AK style semi auto shotgun will fire all types of rounds including bird shot, buck shot, and slugs. The receiver has a side mount for scope mount. Grant, yes Sir, this shotgun can use both Buck Shot and Slugs. It also has a built on Left Side Scope Rail same as most AK's for a Scope Mount.

I not familiar with this shotgun , there is one at teambuds section about 20$ cheaper, is this an up grade ? And a reliable shotgun for the price?

Anthony - This model has a hard chrome bolt carrier. The model for "Team buds" does not. Apparently that is the difference, and could well account for the $20 price difference. These seem to get good reviews all around the internet. I'd say it must be a pretty solid shotgun.

Anthony, The Team Buds is not an upgrade, just low in stock and available currently to TB Members only. The SDS Imports LYNX is an extremely reliable Semi-Auto AK Style Shotgun.

Richard, yes but they are out od stock at Buds. The SDS LH-12 is based off the Saiga 12 and Can use easy to source Saiga 12 magazines, forearms,muzzle devices, grips and stocks. Buds does not seem to have these mags in stock. They're readily available from various outlets on the internet. Information also reveals Saiga 12 gauge shotgun mags are compatible.

The Lynx 12 is the next evolution in 12 Gauge Kalashnikov styled shotguns. This shotgun is similar to the Russian IZ 109 AK shotgun in design but offers many more shooter friendly features. The Lynx 12 interchanges with most Saiga parts like stick mags, handguards & muzzle devices. You can easily upgrade the rear stock to a Tactical set up if you desire. Very pleased with this. The fit and finish are great and the gun is light, handy, and comfortable to shoot. Very accurate and the sights are easy to acquire. I like that it comes with a buffer installed. Fun gun.

I wanted a semi auto shotgun and decided to get a AK style shotgun. The first couple rounds had ejection issues. Once I ran through several mags, the problem happens less frequently. I really enjoy this firearm. I would recommend to any gun enthusiast to purchase one. Kicks like a mule, but that's the fun part. Great buy

I waited one month to write my review for this gun. I put 300 rounds of #8 winchester birdshot through this gun. I put the gas on wide open and just kept feeding mags. The During the first 50-60 shells i would have some sort of malfunction every 5 to 9 rounds. After 60 rounds the gun ran like clock work with cheap low brass birdshot of all kinds. The next 240 shells were a blast! Mine ten round mags were empty in no time. I was having so much fun i did not notice my had was bleeding from pulling my trap cable to through clays! I then turned the gas down and shot some 3” magnum buck and the gun functioned flawlessly. It kicks alot with 3” mag buck. ALOT. I then shot some 1oz slugs @ 50 yards and found that the gun hit low. I am sure this can be corrected with a red dot. In the future. Over all for the price it is an amazing gun with alot of potential. I will be putting a J Mac 12ga muzzle brake on mine to tame that 3” mag buck recoil.
