Very nice pistol, and a bargain. Saw this on Bud's and had to buy it. Glad I did. It is a very handsome piece , black with very subdued, dark wood grips., everything well fitted and finished. Function was flawless right out of the box. I tried three different 10mm loads, soft to hot, FMJ and JHP. All shot well. The extra inch and the porting make for a very soft shooter. Recoil is straight back, with little muzzle rise. Faster and easier to shoot compared to other 10mm 1911s. Also easier on the hands. it's a keeper.

Outstanding pistol! The ported barrel makes shooting any ammo very manageable whether if be the stout Buffalo Bore 10mm or the moderate Legend 10mm or even the anemic Winchester White Box .40 cal, yes, .40 cal!!! Not only a very accurate pistol, but a very inexpensive one as well, especially being 6" and ported!!! Buds delivered it within a week of payment, too.

This pistol very well made in fit and finish, the only drawback is the porting will black out the front sight in a dozen or so rounds. A problem I hope IJ will address in the future.

Buying things through the internet is a crap shoot. Bud's made the process very easy. Emails were promptly returned with answers in a timely manner. The same day they received my payment is the same day it shipped. Good people willing to help if you have questions. WILLING to help......yes, you that correctly. Bud's is a well oiled business machine. The whole transaction was just an absolute pleasure. Other websites can learn from Bud's. Gun review will be generic due to not getting time to fire it yet. It's a $700 1911. Don't expect too much. Boy, was I wrong. I can't believe what nice 1911 this is for $700. Slide is a tight fit and doesn't bind. Nice smooth action. The trigger seems to have very little travel. Which is what I like. A ported longslide 1911 in 10mm for $700? Are you kidding me? TAKE MY MONEY!
