Love this gun, WOW no problems at all. I may pickup the .22 model next. Fires well and has a smooth trigger pull and reset.

I am overall happy with my purchase. It took quite a while for the order to be processed and shipped, but I understand due to the times. The gun itself is basically what I expected. A solid 1911 that replicates the look of the original 1911. The fit and finish are fine. Some of the edges would probably be machined better on a 1911 twice the price, but it’ll shoot down range just fine. I have taken it apart to clean, and all the parts seem durable. The finish on the Regent 5” I received is a matte black, and has black grips, unlike the one in the picture. But that’s okay, I was intending to change the grips anyway.

The workmanship is quite remarkable.
The weapon has worked flawlessly for the first 1,000 rounds.
I have shot factory reloads, and name brand ammo.
I don't run any garbage through my weapons.
Disassembly and cleaning was no different from my Colt.
Very good product. I am surprised at the quality so far.

If you want extra mags, stick with the mec gars. Those run the most reliable in the gun. As for the gun itself, it’s just fine. No issues, and it fit the hc11 recover tactical grip/rail adapter. Great price, great fun.

Again, thank you Bud’s. Your instructions say to keep my review to product(s) purchased. The experience of dealing again with Bud’s is a part of product satisfaction so must go against your wishes and say “thanks” for making my firearm purchase convenient and easy.
Haven’t had my Tisas Regent to the range as yet but will comment on what I’ve seen so far. This is my 5th, yes 5th, 1911 and so far my favorite. Uncle Sam was kind enough to issue me one to carry and this Tisas comes closest to that old Colt as was my intent. As a bonus have found fit, finish and attention to detail excellent. With fit and finish being what it is it’s performance is bound to follow.
Would I purchase another one - certainly and I will deal with Bud’s again in the future. Now if you can convince my wife that I “need” a fancy 1886 Winchester in 45 - 70 you’d be doing me a solid.
