Trace, yes this does have a match grade Barrel. As for +p ammunition European American armorys manual specially warns against using +p or high velocity ammo. Although I've read plenty of reviews saying they've shot +p ammo threw this with no issue. As long as you aren't shooting thousands of rounds of +p I doubt you'll ever notice a difference vs standard velocity ammo. Hope this helps.
