Howa-Legacy 6.5CR 24" HB T/C ORYX RIFLE FDE - 24" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds

Great feeling Chassis, shot extremely well out of the box. It shot 5 different factory ammo options extremely well. All were within 1 MOA and some (Hornady PH, Hornady VE, and Hornady Match) shot 1/2 MOA at 100 yards. Howa makes a quality rifle and the chassis can be utilized with and SA Howa 1500 action. Solid built. I don’t know if I would take it on very long walks since it does have weight but for entry level shooting comp it’s well worth the money

i detest "new" calibers, but i figure the 6.5 creedmore has shown enough staying power, so i gave it a shot. jury is still out on that, im not getting the accuracy i should, and it is lauded as a "super accurate" cartridge, so i should be doing better than i expect, right? but to be fair i have only used factory ammo and have yet to work up a load. the rifle, however, im a fan of the howa rifles, and this one is just as i expected. no complaints. and saving the best for last, the star of the show is the MDT chassis. its awesome, customer support is top notch. i cant say enough good about them. i dont care if you get a 6.5 creed, i dont care if you get a howa rifle, but make sure your next rifle has an MDT chassis, you wont be disappointed.
