SIG 229 357S DASA 12 GRY - Blue/Black, 3.9" Barrel, 12+1 Rounds, Composite Grips, Night Sights

Beautiful gun -- great cartridge and shoots excellent - my favorite handgun! I have a few Sigs and all great but this is the BEST

This pistol is simply awesome. It fits perfectly in the hand. It it the perfect weight to tame the .356 sig. The Sig X-ray sights and the Gray Guns trigger make it a pleasure to shoot.

Reliable and makes .357 sig feel like a 9mm

I've had plenty of Sigs. This one is my favorite in aesthetics and caliber. If I had to pick one postal round I do believe it would be .357 sig. Fired from this pistol the round feels like a 9mm but comes closer to .357 performance ( like a 357 mag with 125 gr. round from a 4 inch barrel).

I have the Sig P226 Legion SAO and absolutely love it. So, I thought getting the Sig P229 Legion in .357 Sig would be a good idea. Especially since I have a P229 .40 S&W barrel that makes it two guns in one. I've only had one range session with the Sig but it went well. No anamolies and accurate. I use it as my carry gun and with the Mitch Rosen holster from Sig it conceals nicely. I also appreciate the fact it comes with 3 magazines!

This is overall a great pistol. It is reliable, smooth, and easy to handle. Additionally, it's beautiful and finely made. This pistol handles the higher pressure of the .357 Sig cartridge very well, making quick follow-ups easy and is more accurate than I could ever be. The extras with this pistol are remarkable and as a Sig guy I enjoyed the extra features. However, the slide stop is so small/close to the frame that it's hard to use. If you're used to using the slide stop instead of racking the slide, you'll have to change your tactic. While overall the pistol is great, I had to take a star off for this since for it's price that shouldn't be an issue. Additionally, while the pistol is smooth, it's not as smooth as my P226 MK25 that received the AEP from Sig's custom shop, which was cheaper than this pistol when you count the cost of the P226 MK25 and AEP. I don't regret the purchase of this pistol because overall it's a stunning piece of mechanical work and it's beautiful, reliable, and gets the job done.
