Part of Kahr's Premium series, the TP40 features "Safe-Cam Action" and a striker-fired design with Kahr's smooth double action only trigger. It has a black polymer frame with a matte stainless steel slide. The 4" barrel has polygonal rifling and a 1:16" RH twist. It has drift adjustable, white bar-dot combat sights and comes with three 7-round magazines.

I am still hopefull that I can use this pistol for concealed carry as I really do like the quality and accuracy but after 270 rounds of break in firing it is still not reliable enough with hollowpoint carry ammo.failure to feed has been an issue with federal hst 180 gr. and sig elite v-crown 165 gr. bullets.i plan to try hornady critical defense ammo next.it also occasionally fails to lock the slide back after firing the last shot.
